“We share the same values in relation to quality, craftsmanship, Danish production and timeless design, so a collaboration was an obvious move for us,” says uno form’s sales director Peter Bisgaard.
uno form has entered into a collaboration with TONI Copenhagen, the traditional Danish manufacturer of kitchen and bathroom fixtures, which have been hand-crafted in Copenhagen since 1918. uno form is thereby adding a new luxury brand to the kitchen manufacturer’s existing portfolio of collaborative partners, under the concept ‘Danish Design Destination’. The collaboration means that, moving forward, TONI Copenhagen will be represented in all uno form’s stores across all markets.
“We see a strong synergy between uno form and TONI Copenhagen, both of which are deeply rooted in the history that we are part of, but which is also in constant renewal. We can convey this story even more strongly by presenting our universes in a shared context,” says Peter Bisgaard.
TONI Copenhagen is Denmark’s oldest manufacturer of fixtures for bathrooms and kitchens. The company was founded in 1884, and since 1918 the production of the legendary hand-crafted taps has taken place in the same workshop in Copenhagen.
“We see the collaboration with uno form as an important strategic partnership, where we contribute equally to a strong synergy based on quality and Danish design. I look forward to becoming a part of uno form’s studios in collaboration with all uno form’s employees, and I am pleased that we can complement each other on several parameters. Our customers thus have the opportunity to experience our historic designs and surfaces up-close, in a setting where Danish design is paramount and where the fixtures fit naturally with the other products. The collaboration also supports our upcoming launches of new products aimed at our shared customers,” says Mark Christiansen, Director of TONI Copenhagen.
uno form was established in 1968, when Arne Munch set about simplifying the concept of good kitchen design. From his basement in Kongens Lyngby, he created the iconic ‘Classic’ collection, which unites the proud Danish traditions of craftsmanship and design in a timeless classic. Today, uno form is one of Denmark’s biggest kitchen brands, with studios all over the country as well as in Norway, Sweden and Belgium.
“The collaboration with TONI Copenhagen strengthens our desire for everyone who visits an uno form studio to feel like they are stepping into a 360-degree experience of the best Danish design has to offer – what we call a ‘Danish Design Destination’,” says Peter Bisgaard.
In addition to the world-renowned taps, uno form will also showcase TONI Copenhagen’s other products, such as Heritage Collection, which includes mirrors, hooks, towel rails and other accessories for the kitchen and bathroom.
The collaboration is the latest in a series of partnerships that uno form has entered into with high-end design brands. uno form recently presented a collaboration with Carl Hansen & Søn, and the company also works with vola, Mater Design, ANOUR and Eberhart Furniture, to name just some examples.
