We have combined Shaker traditions with contemporary Nordic design to create modern rooms with character. The result is relaxed luxury in subdued colours, simple shapes and clean lines. Rooms that offer peace and relaxation for both the soul and the eye.

The Shakers have been a major source of inspiration. They lived a simple life with good cabinet making and created furniture that bridged the gap between the beautiful and the practical. We want to nurture and sustain this tradition.

New Nordic Shaker kitchen

Inspired by simpler times, designed for modern living

The atmosphere in these kitchens is inspired by simpler times in order to create pleasing environments for modern living. The colours have been chosen to give families a tranquil space where they can step back from the hustle and bustle of daily life outside. The configuration is designed for spending time cooking with care, even though fast solutions are often the order of the day.

When everything has its place – and is within easy reach – it’s fun to cook. We therefore offer many different drawer combinations to suit individual family requirements.

As far as choosing the right drawer system is concerned, uno form has greatly simplified the process: the Shaker Collection comes with birch plywood drawers as standard. Finger-jointed drawers in solid maple are available as an option. Both are fully extendable and feature soft close as standard.

We respect Arne Munch’s vision

The design legacy from Arne Munch lives on in everything we create – every single day. Our starting point was therefore a basic design element from Arne Munch’s very first kitchen design from 1968 – the solid, finger-jointed fronts – and from there we created a shelving unit for the Shaker collection. A simple design in the style of classic cabinet-making traditions.
